Role Overview:
Design the Digital Baseband and Power Management subsystem of a state-of-the-art GSM/GPRS and CDMA Mobile Handset.
Responsibility
1. System analysis, design and testing of the Digital Baseband and Power Management subsystem.
2. Integration with RF, Software and Mechanical subsystems.
3. Work with component vendors in making the right design tradeoff of cost, size and performance for the handset.
Essential Skill Set
1. Experience in High Speed Digital design, Layout, integration and Debug of Mobile Handset.
2. Experience in Mixed signal design, Power Management and Battery.
3. Knowledge of memory technology and devices.
4. Knowledge of Mono and Color LCD Technology.
5. Knowledge of test tools and test equipment for debugging digital design.
Desirable Skill Set
1. Knowledge of GSM, CDMA Subsystems
2. Knowledge of RF and Audio systems.
3. Knowledge of digital design tools.
4. Able to work in a team environment.
5. Strong affinity for Lab work
6. Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred with emphasis on Digital design.
Upto 6 years of experience in Digital design of Handsets. |
