Ariba Inc. is looking for a self motivated individual who will be responsible for maintaining security of SAP systems including the Production, Test and Development environments.
Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, maintain & support SAP systems based upon SAP NetWeaver Architecture on MS SQL Server and Windows platform
* Maintain and support SAP systems based on SAP Basis / WebAS Architecture
* Perform core SAP NetWeaver / Basis Configuration
* Provide expert knowledge of technical and middleware architecture to development team and IT Operations
* Monitor and maintain SAP application and database operations & tune settings for optimal system performance
* Provide production support on a periodic 24x7 support
* Installation and application of SAP patches, upgrades & support packages
* Work with functional and technical team members to gather technical infrastructure requirements & execute on project deliverables
* Perform system restores / refreshes, client copies, plan and execute on disaster recovery events & tests
* Maintain system security and user roles
Knowledge and Skills:
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MCA or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2-5 years of SAP Basis Security experience
* 1-2 years specifically focused in NetWeaver, Web Application Server (WebAS) & Java Application Server (JavaAS).
* Experience in SAP installations, technical configuration, CUA, application upgrades and support packs
* General support of project migration, development, testing and production operations
* Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively execute responsibilities as part of a highly skilled dynamic SAP technical team
* Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills to operate either within a team or independently
* Exposure to SAP Portal and Single Sign On (SSO) on Windows
* Experience with SAP XI and BW
* Experience with SAP FICO, HR, Project Systems |
