Must have excellent working knowledge of object oriented design principles and patterns
Excellent working knowledge of software engineering best practices
Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
Experience working on multi-tier architectures
Must have ability to fine tune different layers of the system for scalability
Experience in Servers, Frameworks and languages (Resin, Tomcat, Core Java, Java servlets, JUnit, Ant, Log4J, CVS and Cruise control)
Experience with Relational Databases and Data Binding Tools (Postgres, MySQL, Hibernate)
Additional Skill Set
Would help if they have exposure to Object Databases
Would help if they have exposure to deployment on Linux environment
Would help if they have exposure to the Mobile VAS ecosystem
Responsibility
Will be responsible for architecture, design and development of application as per specifications
Will be responsible for automation of the build, configure, test and deploy process
Advise team on implementation / design patterns, refactoring, unit testing & extreme programming
Identification of any issues and resolution of pitfalls in technology and architecture
