MAP stands for Method Automation Process team; this Team is responsible for getting new Intelligent Network sites deployed for different Alcatel-Lucent customers worldwide. Any planned interventions on the existing site are also MAP responsibility. During implementation it is required to provide backend expert technical support to the onsite engineer. This includes the following.
* As a part of the Method Automation Process team you will be responsible for providing support to all Intelligent Network (IN) customers in India and overseas, covering implementation of equipments in an existing network, problem resolution, troubleshooting and operation support.
* You will be required to interface to 3rd party suppliers and product houses to expedite problems resolution requiring higher level support and / or third party intervention; also to interface to Contract management, installers on site and technical responsible for the project.
* You will be required to write and automate installation/maintenance process, to validate them and support installers on site during interventions.
* You will also be required to support the tendering and presales teams by validating the BOQ and architecture documents
Critical Skills:
It is essential to possess
* A minimum of 1 years experience in Mobile Telecommunication Network or a relevant field
* Experience\Knowledge in Oracle Database administration
* Understanding of SQL
* Understanding of UNIX fundamentals and administration
* Understanding in UNIX scripting
* Knowledge of Telecommunications Signalling Protocols: SS7, INAP, CS1
* Good grasp of TCP/IP concepts
* Fluent English language is mandatory
