Role description
As a Sub-editor, you will be working in tandem with a Senior Associate Editor and will edit documents to ensure that they are grammatically correct, logical, well structured, and coherent.
As an Associate Editor, you will be primarily responsible for editing manuscripts to make them ready for publication. This involves ensuring that a document is grammatically correct, logical, well structured, and coherent. From time to time, you may also be required to comment on the content of manuscripts.
Who are we looking for?
We?re currently looking for motivated editors to join Noesis?our humanities and social sciences editorial team. This role will provide an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that presents ample scope for internal career progression in a variety of areas.
Interested candidates must have excellent written-English skills and must be a graduate or higher. They must be comfortable with editing documents of various types?journal articles, presentations, speeches, reviews, theses, etc.?under tight deadlines.
