| Job Description |

1)Monitoring ~ distributed Linux server network using a Network management system.
2)Responding to alerts in timely fashion as per the pre defined priority levels and SLAs.
3)Understanding, analyzing the root cause of an alert and solving it.
4)Timely escalation of complex issues to SMEs.
5)Working closely with Network partners and resolving non-hardware related problems.
6)Create and update internal NOC processes and procedures for better understanding and problem solving.
7)Analyze and report on trends regarding issues related to various networks.
8)Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies within a dynamic environment
9)Well organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
10)Tools & scripting for remote monitoring, Alerts and maintenance, Patch management.
11)Sound knowledge of Apache, Mysql, Mail, samba, DNS, DHCP.
12)Experience in troubleshooting LAN,WAN
13)Sound scripting knowledge (bash/perl/python/php)
14)Knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls
15)Willingness to work on flexible timings including night shift.

1)Technical Diploma or Bachelors degree from a reputed board/university with excellent track record.
2)Minimum one year experience in Linux and networking, preferably in a NOC environment with excellent problem solving skills.
3)Working knowledge of Internet protocols and tools including BGP, TCP/IP and DNS.
4)Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Must have the ability to interact to multiple people at varying levels within an organization and of varying technical backgrounds.
5)Candidate must have the ability to work in an energetic and dynamic environment, with openness to the demands and rewards of a 24x7 workplace.
