Job Description for WLI/SOA Test Development Positions
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Join the WebLogic Integration (WLI) product team, and contribute to cutting-edge technology helping customers integrate ERP, CRM, legacy applications, business users, supply chain, trading partners, etc. into a single flexible environment, with simplified production and management. As a team member you will be responsible for owning the full-cycle quality aspects for a given technology domain. This requires thorough understanding of underlying technologies, participation in design, and code reviews. You will be expected to provide input on improvement to the product based on requirements and customer focus. You will be expected to design and implement complex applications involving data transformation, scalability, performance, clustering, service-replication, transactions, recoverability, etc. often involving J2EE, XML, database, and "packaged application" technologies. You'll be expected to automate execution of these applications (including developing utilities that can be re-used by others), and regularly monitor results and perform root-cause analysis of failures, working closely with developers on product verification improvements, debug ability in both product and tests. Above all, you must have an infectious zeal for quality, both in the target product, and in your own personal work. You will be expected to think of pushing the envelope on the methodology and technology; including development and research of code generation, distributed computing agents, and static/dynamic code analysis techniques for detecting software defects.
You?ll be part of the overall SOA Test Development Team in India which participates in all of the critical test development activities of the SOA Product Suite including understanding of the new SOA features, designing the test cases, test development, automation & testing, integration and release of highest quality SOA products.

Qualifications/Necessary Skills required -
? Love for producing high-quality work
? Extreme attention to details
? Advanced java programming knowledge (threads, IO, design patterns, etc.)
? Solid understanding of XML, J2EE, Web Services and SOA Concepts
? Expertise in using JUnit, Ant, code analysis/profiling tools
? Strong problem solving skills and creativity.
? Good written and verbal communication skills.
? Enthusiasm in learning new things quickly
? Experience with BPM technology, B2B technology, WebLogic Server, EAI technology, JCA, Messaging architectures a plus
? Experience in SOA Domain - Candidates who have worked at Customer sites as SOA Solution experts will have added advantage
? Expertise in using Jython, Perl, Groovy, AOP, and Log4J a plus.
? Deep understanding of databases, data transformation issues a plus
? Solid academic track record of innovation and excellence
Additional skills required for IDE Positions:
? Solid understanding of Swing/SWT
? IDE automation experience would be a plus
